In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, this is reissued on limited edition 2LP translucent cobalt vinyl.

The variety of guest artists adds diversity and originality to each track, and gives the album a distinct jazz feel. I didn't care much for the tracks where he takes a back seat, but overall it was a good listen, even the track with the French rapping sounded good. The album dropped that week the show started at midnight and both Roy Ayers and Donald Byrd were there.
