About this deal

Brazilian composer Antônio Carlos Jobim is name-checked in the liner notes – the man who brought The Girl From Ipanema to the world – and influences Older’s jazzier inflections. The album was Michael's most successful in the UK, reaching number one and it was certified 8× Platinum. The album of the same name merges studio-recorded orchestral arrangements with Michael’s vocals at the Royal Albert Hall stop-off on the tour. Mother’s Pride, a heart-wrenching ballad about those whose lives have been torn apart by military conflict struck a chord with those families affected by the Gulf War of 1990/91.

Also superb are the sympathetic covers of Seal and Adamski’s Killer and soul gem Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone by The Temptations recorded at a separate Wembley Arena date.Established for over 30 years) The Company guarantees the following specifications:- * This award is professionally made to a very high standard using quality materials. Themes of grief and mortality are threaded through Older’s tracklisting with the title song a knowing look at the passing of time. Models Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington, and Cindy Crawford lip sync the song in place of Michael, who is absent from the video. Also in 1987, Michael collaborated with Aretha Franklin on the UK and US number one single " I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)".

Its funky second half doffs its hat to horn-infused Philly Soul and even includes a brief Italo House-style breakdown. If Michael is in philosophical mode throughout much of the album, his knack for button-pushing controversy still bubbles to the surface on the sexualised raunch of Freeek! But more fundamental to the project is the shadow cast by George’s late partner Anselmo Feleppa who died in 1993.

With over 100 million records sold worldwide, he achieved numerous music awards throughout his 30-year career. This double album (available in CD only) includes 14 songs "for the heart" and 15 songs "for the feet" and it's the first George Michael compilation that was released to celebrate his career from 1984 to 1998. In his career, Michael sold an estimated 100 million to 125 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time.

In December 1991, Michael released " Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", a duet with Elton John; it reached number one in the UK and US. It is certified 7 times platinum in the United Kingdom and multi-platinum in the United States, and is Michael's most commercially successful album in his homeland having sold more than 2. If we feel that we’ve been put through the emotional wringer by that then there’s a little respite on the acoustic string-laden ballad Something To Save, equally introspective but with a little lighter touch. The collection of 29 songs (28 on the North American release) is separated into two-halves, with each CD of the double set containing music of a particular theme and mood.
