About this deal

Annnnd since this is an ongoing series with 60 issues so far, I will have something to look forward to reading for quite a while. Although the comic relief side is not always funny, overall Bleach do appeal to certain group of readers and hence, why it is popular. He never took drawing seriously until he was 17; after reading Dragon Ball he knew he wanted to be a manga artist.

Unless something drastic happens to the storyline or the character development goes down the crapper, this is a series I will continue to (binge)read. Most of the main characters and dynamics are well set up, especially Ichigo and Rukia, but a lot of the supporting cast have a long way to go.When I realized that I was watching the later episodes, I got on my computer to see if I could watch what I missed, so I did and by the time I was caught up, I wanted more, so I looked for the subbed one but didn’t enjoy it as much as when I watched those again in English when those were available because Johnny Young Bosch is Ichigo, his voice suits him perfectly, just like Vic Mignogna’s voice suits Edward Elric perfectly. I realize it's kinda 'typical' as far as Shonen manga goes, but that doesn't stop it from being a worthwhile read.

From then on the rest of the 3 in 1 volume has mostly stories of Ichigo hallow haunting and taking down big bads for people. Orhime also was a weird character as she had quite a large role in the manga but after her hollow encounter she seemed a bit redundant but kept reappearing just to remind the reader that everyone lusts after her apart from Ichigo? Now a full-fledged Soul Reaper himself, Ichigo quickly learns that the world he inhabits is one full of dangerous spirits, and along with Rukia--who is slowly regaining her powers--it's Ichigo's job to protect the innocent from Hollows and help the spirits themselves find peace. There is artistic and character ephemera that is giggle inducing and awesome for its ability to hook into and endearing the reader to the varied personalities of the series. I also thought Ichigo and Rukia's relationship was always well balanced and of course the begining is classic. I have heard rumors online about the new season of Bleach coming out which is totally exciting and I wonder if they’re true.

The beginning of final arch of Bleach, the quinces have come to take their revenge on the Soul Reapers who once hunted them. I realize I’m super late to the game on this series but I’ve been meaning to read it for a while now. It's the day of reckoning and Ichigo must fight Byakuya Kuchiki one on one, whether or not his bankai is battle-ready. For people who are new to this series and unfamiliar with it, I think this is a great introduction to the series, especially if you read the 3-in-1 edition instead of the single editions. I used to watch the anime on adult swim back in either 2006 or 2007 when I was either 13 or 14 years old.
